Key Features
View fields and sub-fields: Twine provides an interactive map of your fields and subfields/sections to allow you to easily visualize and locate fields. Twine will also highlight where you are in a field when you run Twine on a tablet.
Data layers: Easily add soil analysis, crop, and relative yield layers to your fields in Twine. Connections to John Deere Operations Center, and Climate automatically retrieve yield data, clean it, and apply it to your fields.
Sort and manage soil test results: Easily select soil samples by date range, sort by specific nutrients within Twine, or use the one-click export to Excel to tabulate or share your lab results any way you like.
Enter manure applications: The Manure Application milestone allows you to enter manure applications and BMPs. Twine uses the sources and equipment that you provided to your consultant to make communication easier and more accurate.
Soil Sampling Maps
Twine.Ag unlocks new soil sampling efficiency for crop consultants and producers by seamlessly transitioning from soil sampling service levels and pricing to zone and grid creation (including removing manure application setback areas), to streamlining in-field soil sampling operations. After soil test results are returned by the lab, producers and their advisors receive immediate access to them via the home page.
Soil Sampling Table
Visualize soil nutrient levels in the map view or view multiple years of results in the Table View.
By clicking “Table” (upper left), users can interact with soil test results in tabular format, too, where they can click any soil test property column header to instantly sort their field list accordingly. Producers can also export their soil test results from Twine.Ag by clicking “Export to Excel” in the right panel.
Crops Map
The software makes it easy to see operation-wide crop distribution for a selected season. Use map view to visualize planted crops or switch to Table View to see recent rotations.
Manure and Planting Logs
Twine.Ag enables growers to record their own planting and manure application records, which are instantly shared with their crop consultant, who can update downstream crop protection and nutrient application plans accordingly.
Relative Yield Maps
Automatically fetch, sort, and cleanse yield data from the John Deere Operations Center and from Climate Field View. By automatically comparing every 2m x 2m cell against farm-wide average productivity, fields can be objectively compared to one another over long time periods.
Variable Rate Maps
Twine.Ag converts raw yield data into variable rate seed, nitrogen, potash, and lime prescription maps in record time. Each crop input has a purpose-built workflow that automatically pulls relevant data into the process. For example, lime and potash are driven by specific soil test results, while seed and nitrogen are driven by yield data.
